The Zoo
We went to the Zoo on Friday, I love our Zoo but it's not something you can do frequently. It's an hour and a half drive each way and it takes at least 3 hours and a lot of walking to see even a decent amount of what they have to offer and a lot longer to see everything. With a group of small children that task isn't as easy as you would think. But the kids loved seeing the animals and had a pretty good time. Here's a sample of how the day went.
Zeke's favorite part of the trip hands down was this bucket of water they had in their Kid Zone with paint brushes in it, he went to town with it. I'm sure it felt good though in the 85 degree weather.
And all of the kids eventually zonked out on the way home (with chocolate chip cookies all over their faces).
