A snowy surprise
Late last night through around lunchtime today we received about 5 inches of snowfall, something we rarely experience here in the Piedmont area of NC. It seems like it snows at least once a year, but it's rarely more than a dusting on the ground which melts and then freezes overnight to wreak havoc the following day. I stayed home thinking it might be a bit too much effort getting to the office and that allowed me to play with Zeke in the snow while Elizabeth and Ellie watched with jealousy. It was fun for a few minutes until Zeke took a slow-motion face plant into the snow which startled him and ended our fun instantly. I did manage to get some video using Elizabeth's camera prior to the traumatic event. Grandma Potter had asked Zeke to make a snowball for her if it snowed, so we were able to fulfill our promise.
