Our Easter
I was recently reminded by a friend of mine (thanks Cooker!) that we've been negligent in our duties to frequently update our blog. Sadly enough, it's true. I mean, we have a three month old baby girl and a hilarious three year old little boy but can't seem to find anything worth posting? Hardly. We're just lazy.
This past Easter Sunday we visited my parents at their new humble abode in Lenoir County. It's a pretty great place for Easter Egg hunts, fried chicken, dirt roads and farmland, if you're into that sort of thing. It had been a while since I'd been there but it always seems to bring back memories. My parents recently purchased an adjacent property to the one they already own and are remodeling the home on it. We hung out with my Grandparents, ate a nice Easter dinner and then ventured outside for the requisite egg hunt. Zeke had fun running around looking for eggs. He loves to get outside and play so I think the candy-filled eggs were just a bonus in his mind. It did provide many opportunities for pictures and video. The one I'm attaching is a clip of some silly dance he did when we came outside to hunt for eggs. Take that, Gene Kelley! Well, he was either dancing or had some bugs in his sandals......(warning: turn the sound low BEFORE hitting play)
